Corporate Social Responsibility in 2021

on February 28, 2023

In the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Company will continue to prioritize health factors in 2021. Cancer patients are one group of people who have been affected by the pandemic. Leukemia, retinoblastoma, osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, malignant lymphoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma are among the malignancies. Leukemia is the most common childhood malignancy, followed by retinoblastoma (source: p2ptm.kemenkes.go.id). Because of this, the company is cognizant of the need to make a genuine contribution to the early detection of eye cancer in children, also known as Retinoblastoma.

In collaboration with the Anyo Indonesia Foundation (YAI), the Company provided support in the form of purchasing a cancer detection tool in the eye or known as an Ophthalmoscope in the “Giving of 1,000 Free Ophthalmoscopes" movement which was given directly to Health Centers throughout Indonesia. The symbolic handover of the Ophthalmoscope was carried out on December 8, 2021 with the hope that YAI can
continue this program as a shared responsibility of Indonesian citizens for the welfare of children.
